- You are attempting to uninstall Dynamics MS CRM 3.0 or MS CRM 4.0 Outlook Client
- Client is running Windows XP or Vista and Outlook 2003 or 2007
- Server is running Windows Server 2003 family, including SBS2003.

IMPORTANT: If you are uninstalling CRM so you can re-deploy the computer to another person, remember to uninstall CRM under the original user's name and ensure that user has administrator privileges on the local machine. Don't try to uninstall CRM under the new user's name, even if they are an administrator on the local machine.

- Uninstall CRM using Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Settings (Vista)
- Uninstall SQL and anything to do with SQL such as SQL Reporting Services using Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Settings (Vista)
- Delete Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsft SQL Server program folders completely. If any files are locked, try using 'Unlocker 1.8.5', available from download.com
- Run regedit and export registry as a backup. Then search for all keys/values/data for 'MSCRM' and remove all
- Delete the user's Outlook profile under Control Panel à Mail à Profiles
- Remove the Outlook profile from the user's application folder under the following locations:
- For Vista:
- C:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\microsoft\outlook
- C:\users\<username>\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook
- C:\users\<username>\appdata\local\microsoft\MSCRM
- XP (may be slightly different to below)
- C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
- C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
If re-installing for a new user, you may log in under the new user name and re-install as normal. Remember to install the latest rollups.
OTHER POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
Once you have used Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Settings to remove CRM, you may be able to use SQL Manager to delete the CRM databases. If you are able to do this, you might be able to avoid having to complete the rest of the instructions above.
